02241-26-208, “208 AVIRINGS”, bred by Kornelius + Tompa F.+G., brings together the Vandenabeele-based Benko family, a close collateral connection to Algarve winner Thomas 6, and repeated Romario ancestry. Its strongest credentials are documented one-loft breeding results on the paternal side and a concentrated maternal pedigree.
The sire, “Junior Benko” (SLO-2024-114-2734), is a documented producer of one-loft performance. His offspring is credited with 4th Ace Pigeon at OLR Ribera del Orbigo, 12th in the semi-final and 41st in the final. These results provide direct evidence of the sire’s breeding value, without attributing those performances to the pigeon offered here.
Junior Benko is a son of “Benko” (SLO-2021-114-4938), identified in the pedigree as Vandenabeele. Benko’s close family includes a nest brother that won 1st Club over 505 km and two half-sisters that took 1st and 2nd Regional from Magdeburg over 715 km. The paternal grandmother, “Richter Sali” (0643-20-376), adds the documented Richter/Lipski, Fernand Marien and Wissing/Wolbeck background.
The dam, “Queen 106” (02241-25-106), is a daughter of “225” (01696-19-225), a brother of the famous “Thomas 6” (01696-18-6). Thomas 6 won the 2018 Golden Race Algarve by a margin of 24 minutes and is also recorded as 8th Ace Pigeon. This is a valuable family connection through the maternal grandfather—not a claim that Thomas 6 is a direct ancestor.
Romario is represented through three documented branches. Maternal great-grandmother “THE QUEEN” (03801-16-755) is a daughter of Romario. Maternal grandmother “Romario’s Dream” (02241-23-538), bred by Simon Wolf, is herself bred from “199” (03801-13-199), a son of Romario, and “911” (03801-17-911), a daughter of Romario. This repeated ancestry gives 208 AVIRINGS a distinctive maternal foundation alongside its sire’s demonstrated one-loft breeding results.
