Karscu '493' – DV 07236-26-493 is a blue hen bred by Karscu Alin, combining the direct racing quality of an MNFC Open winner with a maternal family rich in national placings and international long-distance connections.
Her father, Super Blue BK, GB 21-Z59228, bred by Pieter Oberholster, provides the headline credentials:
- 1st Open MNFC Young Birds against 2,137 pigeons over 228 km, with 1st South-East Section against 739 pigeons.
- 1st Open Gold Ring Classic, 1,321 entries.
Super Blue BK is a son of Blue Best Kittel, BE 20-1155956, bred by Dehon-Demontseau, and Super Arwa 615, DV 05369-15-615, bred by Hans Paul Esser. This makes Karscu '493' a granddaughter of the pair responsible for her sire's outstanding Open victories. Blue Best Kittel was bred from Espoir, BE 18-1045025, and his explicitly recorded half-sister, concentrating the Dehon-Demontseau family through their shared mother, BE 15-1011429, named National ACE Hen.
Espoir, a great-grandfather of the offered hen, is recorded as 4th National Ace Pigeon, sprint, KBD. The Esser branch adds another distinguished direct ancestor: National ACE '655', DV 00901-09-0655, a great-great-grandfather with 1st National Ace Pigeon, short distance.
Her mother, Blaue '27', DV 07236-24-1927, is explicitly recorded as a half-sister to pigeons achieving 5th National Vierzon 2025, 13th National Vierzon 2023 and 13th National Jarnac hens 2022. These are performances of the mother's half-siblings, giving valuable close-family evidence rather than results claimed for the offered hen. The maternal grandfather, Gr.Son Marie, DV 07505-19-1579, is also documented as the sire of the cited 5th National Vierzon and 13th National Jarnac hens performers.
The deeper maternal pedigree brings together Karl-Heinz Koers, Freialdenhofen & Söhne, van der Wegen and Menne. Through Der 1035, it traces directly to the 2013 Saint-Vincent international winner against 10,907 pigeons. The Wegen–Menne branch also records a collateral connection to international Barcelona winner Queen of the Night: Karscu '493's great-grandmother, RO 14-581553, is described as a sister of that winner's father. A compelling pedigree pairing proven Open-winning speed with established national and international long-distance family strength.
