PERPY — BE-2026-5011310 is a blue young pigeon combining the documented Libourne, Perpignan and Barcelona families of Isidoor Thijs. Its pedigree brings together a race-performing dam, close paternal relatives with provincial and one-loft success, and a strong foundation of long-distance breeding.
The dam, BE-2020-5086297, provides direct racing credentials: she achieved 14th Provincial Limoges against 568 pigeons and 337th National against 9,218 pigeons in 2021. She also recorded 56th La Souterraine against 933 pigeons. Her sire, PERPY’s maternal grandfather BE-2018-5070901, won 23rd Provincial Cahors against 419 pigeons in 2021.
The sire, BE-2020-5086175, combines the Libourne and Perpignan/Barcelona branches. His brother, recorded as 229/20 and documented as a son of both his parents, achieved 13th Provincial Limoges against 1,583 pigeons in 2022. His half-sister LIBO won the 485 km final of the Costa de la Luz One Loft Race in 2022. Their shared sire, PERPY’s paternal grandfather BE-2015-2188940, is recorded as a brother of LIBOURNE. PERPY’s paternal grandmother is SIN ANILLO, BE-2019-5120143, from the Perpignan/Barcelona family.
Further standout results underline the pedigree’s depth:
- CAHORS, recorded as 5027216/13: 1st Provincial against 690 pigeons and 7th National against 5,639 pigeons from Cahors in 2017, following 14th Provincial against 549 pigeons in 2016. His dam, BE-2011-5163393, is PERPY’s maternal great-grandmother.
- De BARCELONA, BE-2013-5149026: a direct ancestor on the paternal side, with 8th Provincial Barcelona against 1,302 pigeons and 69th National against 7,874 pigeons in 2017.
The Perpignan foundation is reinforced through both sides of the pedigree. PERPIGAN, BE-2004-3155344, and his paired hen BE-2007-5040160 recur in three branches. Additional ancestry includes BLAUWE MAES, the Verreckt–Arien and Theuninck–Vanderfaeillie lines, and maternal great-grandsire STARLIGHT MONAR, BE-2016-6006344, recorded with Jos Thoné and Elite of Natural–Etienne Meirlaen connections. A compelling pedigree choice for buyers seeking documented long-distance family performance alongside a close connection to a one-loft final winner.
