Maria — ES 26-49053 — 1st against 2,693 pigeons in Race 1, Avirings OLR 2026. Bred by Pedro Mompean, this chequer hen combines her own winning performance with a pedigree bringing together Tom Van Gaver’s FINN and RICKY families, documented KITTEL descent and Günter Prange breeding.
Her sire, Finn’Ricky, BE 23-4073598, bred by A. Abajo & V. Gaver, has offspring credited with 23rd in the Marismas Masters Winter Race final in 2025. He is bred from two Tom Van Gaver pigeons: Finn’s Dream and Rickys Finn 55. The latter is the mother of a winner of 1st against 5,781 pigeons over 502 km, providing substantial evidence of breeding strength in Maria’s immediate paternal family.
Her dam Valencia, ES 19-61301, adds both racing ability and proven production. Bred by Alberto Abajo, Valencia recorded 8th against 1,089 pigeons over 370 km and has bred a winner of 1st against 2,149 pigeons over 354 km. Importantly, Valencia’s full siblings also include a winner of 1st against 1,805 pigeons over 570 km—a strong supporting result from the same parental pairing as Maria’s dam.
Maria is a great-granddaughter of FINN, BE 15-4211540, winner of 1st Provincial against 1,591 pigeons, and a great-granddaughter of RICKY, BE 13-4142684, 9th National Ace Pigeon KBDB in 2014. These are direct pedigree connections, through her paternal grandparents.
On the maternal side, Maria is a granddaughter of Kittel JR and a great-granddaughter of Little Kittel, BE 15-4100566, explicitly recorded as a daughter of KITTEL, 1st National Ace Pigeon KBDB 2013. Her maternal grandmother, Günter Prange’s Daughter Bombastic, brings the Bombastic and Zora branch, with documented ancestry reaching Der 261 and Ringlose.

Payment Instructions:
After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
