NL-2026-8517167 — “UTOPIAN x PAULINA” is a chequer cock bred by Will & Falco Ebben, combining the Van Leeuwen & Son family of national ace hen Miss May with the Ebben performance family behind Paulina. A direct son of a producer of a first-prize winner and a successful racing hen, he offers a pedigree supported by major-field victories and national ace-pigeon rankings.
His father, Utopian, NL-2025-1294506, bred by Van Leeuwen & Son, is the documented sire of 26-2601134, 1st Chimay against 2,095 pigeons. Utopian is a son of Strong 99 and Miss May, placing two accomplished racers immediately behind the offered cock.
His mother, Paulina, NL-2020-1302157, provides outstanding direct racing evidence:
- 1st Morlincourt against 6,385 pigeons.
- 4th Dizy le Gros against 14,634 pigeons.
- 1st Late Tour Ace Pigeon and 3rd Overall Ace Pigeon, S-Prov, Afd. 8/Zuidwest, 2021.
- 19th National Ace Pigeon, Yearlings, PIPA Ranking, 2021.
A headline attraction is his paternal grandmother, Miss May, NL-2023-9316014: 2nd National All-round Ace Pigeon in 2025, with victories of 1st Pontoise against 9,464 pigeons and 1st Pt. St Max against 9,138 pigeons. These results bring substantial national ranking quality and large-field winning performance into the immediate pedigree.
The deeper ancestry adds further substance. Miss May is bred from NL-2019-1667466, bred by W.A. de Bruijn and explicitly recorded as a grandson of Floris Jr, paired with Queen B, NL-2018-5167335, bred by G. & S. Verkerk. On the maternal side, Paulina is a daughter of Nardo and Malon; this branch leads directly to Ad Schaerlaeckens-bred Mad Max and the Ebben ancestors Kamilah, Fargo and Feline.
A compelling combination of demonstrated parental breeding success, a high-performing mother and an exceptional national ace grandmother—with documented De Bruijn, Verkerk and Schaerlaeckens contributions supporting the Van Leeuwen–Ebben pairing.
