At Derby Avirings OLR 2026, NL-2026-8475421 recorded 81st in Final 2 against 1,161 pigeons over 501 km and 214th in Final 3 against 998 pigeons over 501 km. A headline attraction is its documented full-sibling relationship to the 2nd Ace Pigeon at Avirings OLR 2025 across three 500 km races—close-family evidence of performance over repeated longer-distance stages.
The sire, Vasili, NL-2021-1668247, is a successful racer and producer. His breeding record includes 1st Super Ace Pigeon at As Golden OLR Greece in 2022. Both Vasili and the dam, Aphrodite, NL-2023-9099835, are credited with breeding a winner of Avirings OLR Final Race 1 in 2025, against 1,034 pigeons over 508 km. Bert is bred from Father Justify and Rachel, NL-2018-1459287, the primary pigeon's great-grandmother and winner of 1st Provincial Weert against 11,059 pigeons. Vasili's dam, Koh-I-Noor, adds the Barend J. × Aniek breeding branch.
On the maternal side, Aphrodite is bred from Mr. X × Marcia. Mr. X connects directly to the Heremans-Ceusters pigeons Dream Boy and Dafne, while Marcia is a daughter of Olympic Hans, NL-2012-1204759. This makes the offered pigeon a great-grandchild of the 1st Olympiad Pigeon, Category D Allround, Brussels 2017. Payment Instructions:
After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
