BG-2026-78188 — a Raponski-bred pigeon combining documented Algarve and Victoria Falls performance with double NPO-winning ancestry. Bred by Petar & Kiril Raponski, this bird brings together the Comb. van Wanrooij, Marco Kerkhof and Hardy Kruger branches through its maternal family, supported by the Doch Holiday and Vera families on the paternal side.
The maternal grandparents provide particularly strong racing credentials. Grandfather FINN, NL-2022-2237682, bred by Comb. van Wanrooij, achieved 9th in the Algarve GR final against 3,622 pigeons and 4th Ace Bird in 2022. Grandmother Black Night, GB-2017-P34727, recorded as 100% Hardy Kruger, won 4th in the 602 km Victoria Falls final in 2018 and 4th Ace Bird in the Victoria Falls OLR yearling race series that year.
FINN is a son of PAUL, NL-2016-1270840, bred by Marco Kerkhof. This makes the offered pigeon a great-grandchild of a documented double NPO winner: 1st NPO Bourges against 5,677 pigeons and 1st NPO Fay-Aux-l against 7,818 pigeons.
The paternal pairing adds two notable Algarve family connections. The sire, BG-2019-29681, is bred from DV 05425-18-30, a Claudia Schwarm-bred full brother to Doch Holiday, winner of the 2017 Golden Algarve OLR final over 505 km against 2,624 pigeons, paired with Sister Vera, BE-2018-4181459. Sister Vera is explicitly recorded as a full sister to Vera, which placed 3rd in the 505 km AGR final in 2016. These are collateral family performances, not results won by the offered pigeon or its sire.
Close-family breeding evidence reinforces the pedigree: the offered pigeon is a documented half-sibling to BG 45073-24, which finished 24th in the 410 km Derby Halkidiki final against 1,003 pigeons. Their shared mother, BG-2023-27665, is the daughter of FINN and Black Night. Payment Instructions:
After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
