“Jonge duif” — a pro-forma youngster pedigree combining inbred Jackpot blood with the Scheffer–van Laar racing family and repeated J. Straver ancestry. The proposed pairing is NL-2023-9161967, bred by D.G. de Greef, with NL-2022-8293208, bred by Comb. Scheffer–van Laar. No ring number or sex is recorded for the youngster.
The paternal line offers a clearly documented concentration of Heremans–Ceusters’ Jackpot. The sire is a son of “Jacky” NL-2018-1628537, bred by H. & E.J. Eijerkamp and described as “Inbred Jackpot”. Jacky comes from the full brother–sister pairing of “Blauwe Jackpot” NL-2011-1342155 and “Summerset” NL-2011-1342154. Both are direct children of “Jackpot” BE-2003-6192777 and Dirk van Dyck’s “Caprio 592” BE-2009-6369592, placing this same pair twice in the youngster’s fourth generation.
The paternal grandfather, NL-2021-1022269, is documented as a half-brother to a high-performing racer whose results include:
- 1st Quiévrain against 5,150 pigeons.
- 1st Duffel against 3,423 pigeons.
- 1st Quiévrain against 3,351 pigeons.
- 5th NPO Laon against 6,455 pigeons.
- 7th NPO St Quentin against 6,718 pigeons.
The maternal side adds performance in the direct family. The dam, NL-2022-8293208, recorded 8th Tienen against 385 pigeons. Her father, NL-2016-1324264, achieved 66th Nanteuil against 1,928 pigeons.
The J. Straver hen NL-2011-1683669 appears twice as a maternal great-grandmother: she is the mother of both maternal grandparents. She is explicitly recorded as a half-sister to the 8th-ranked middle-distance pigeon in WHZB. Her ancestry also includes “Zus Donker Aske”, while “Donker Aske” NL-2006-1041770 appears through the other Straver branch. This proposed youngster therefore brings together concentrated Jackpot breeding, substantial paternal collateral results and a closely woven maternal racing family.
