NL-2019-4492368 brings together the Algarve Couple, Krakus final winner “Moonraker” and the family of Golden Algarve final winner “Corina”. A pedigree built around documented one-loft racing success, with winning ancestry on both sides.
The sire is “Son Algarve Koppel” NL-2017-4440287, bred by Gert Rotman, a direct son of “Algarve King” BE-2012-6178932 and “Algarve Queen” DV 04628-13-365. This paternal grandparent pair is credited with breeding the 2015 Algarve Great Derby winner, offspring recording 8th in the semi-final and 13th in the final of the 2016 Algarve Great Derby, and a 21st National Bourges result in 2017 against more than 59,000 pigeons.
Close-family evidence continues through the sire’s offspring “Queen of Algarve”, which shares its father with the auction pigeon. Her recorded performances include 11th in the Algarve Golden Race semi-final, 56th in the 2018 final and 19th Ace Pigeon against more than 5,000 pigeons. These results add valuable performance depth to the paternal breeding family.
The dam, “Miss Moonraker” NL-2018-1437072, bred by Henk Simonsz, is a daughter of “Moonraker” BE-2017-5060211. This maternal grandfather won the 530 km Krakus OLR final, finishing 12 minutes ahead, raced by J&N Alaerts. The maternal grandmother, “Sister Corina” SK-2015-1905514, is explicitly recorded as a full sister to “Corina”, winner of the 2014 Golden Algarve final and €75,000—a strong collateral connection to another major final winner.
The deeper pedigree adds De Rauw-Sablon blood through “Zn. New Freddy”, with “New Freddy” BE-2009-5052387 himself appearing as a direct ancestor. The paternal family also records a Figo connection through Paul Huls’ “Miss Figo”, while the maternal Corina branch includes Ad Schaerlaeckens-bred “Daniel” and “Acka”. An appealing combination for buyers seeking documented one-loft winning families supported by established breeding lines.
