AVI 598 – DV 01463-26-598, a 2026 cock bred by Bogdan Avramescu, combines documented performances over 500 km with the racing quality of GENTLEMAN 744 and a pedigree rich in Günter Prange and Kipp & Söhne breeding.
AVI 598’s own results include:
- 128th against 2,417 pigeons over 254 km.
- 129th against 1,790 pigeons over 501 km — F.R.1/3.
- 140th against 1,161 pigeons over 501 km — F.R.2/3.
- 100th against 998 pigeons over 521 km — F.R.3/3.
His father, DV 05382-25-982, bred by SG Lang J. & M. & M. & M., is a son of GENTLEMAN 744, DV 05064-21-744. This paternal grandfather achieved 5th in Germany in the FCI World's Best Pigeon ranking, long-distance category, in 2022, recording 10 prizes and 784.08 ace points that season. His ancestry brings together Rudi Heinen’s SUPER 76 and a hen bred by Heide & Richard Gross.
The paternal grandmother, DV 02098-16-1286, bred by Günter Prange, supplies important breeding evidence. She is the mother of 05382-21-213, winner of 1st Regional Association at Magny-Cours / Nevers against 3,615 pigeons over 480 km in 2022. Another offspring, 05382-23-821, was the RV Best Yearling Cock in 2024, with 10 prizes. Her sire, DV 02098-09-1991, is explicitly recorded as a grandson of Ringlose, establishing the pedigree’s connection to this Prange line.
AVI 598’s mother, DV 03341-22-361, also bred by Bogdan Avramescu, is a daughter of the Werner Zoll cock DV 03341-21-252 and KATY, DV 04900-12-1280, bred by Kipp & Söhne. Through KATY, AVI 598 is a great-grandson of WEISSAUGE, DV 02098-07-112, whose offspring are credited with 1st International Ace Pigeon IGW 2016 and 6th National Ace Pigeon 2016. WEISSAUGE also appears one generation farther back through the maternal grandfather’s family.
The maternal pedigree additionally records the Ons Louis, De Zitter and Golden Glory lines. An appealing combination of AVI 598’s own longer-distance results, a highly ranked racing grandfather and documented breeding success in both sides of the family.
