“Avi Rings” – 5102-26-706 is a grizzle pigeon bred by Nagelsdieck/Fröhling, combining documented winner-producing German families with Leo Heremans/Heremans-Ceusters ancestry. Its strongest credentials include a dam that is a full sister to two winning hens, a great-grandfather ranked 20th National Ace Cock in Germany, and direct descent from Nieuwe Rossi and Eenoogske.
The dam’s winning full sisters are a key attraction. The mother, 5102-22-431, “Die Verletzte”, is bred from 3318-17-150 and 1777-17-736, “Helios 736”. Both maternal grandparents are recorded as the parents of:
- Hen 565: 1st Regional Passau in 2021 against 1,847 pigeons.
- Hen 595: 1st FG Hemau in 2021 against 793 pigeons.
These winners are therefore full sisters to the dam of “Avi Rings”, providing close-family evidence of the breeding strength of this pairing. The maternal grandfather, 3318-17-150, is also a son of 3318-14-390, 20th National Ace Cock in Germany. This branch traces to G. Fröhlingsdorf’s foundation cock “Josef”, while the Helios side adds the grizzle family through “Helios Ares 153”.
The paternal side contributes further documented breeding success. The sire, 7721-22-251, is a son of R. Nagelsdieck’s 1633-15-10, recorded as the sire of a 1st Ace Hen. This paternal grandfather also bred hen 16-310, which earned 12 prizes and ranked 2nd-best regional hen in 2017, followed by 11 prizes in 2018. Another offspring, cock 17-186, recorded 10 prizes in 2018 and 11 in 2019.
Heremans ancestry is established on both sides of the pedigree. The paternal grandmother, 1549-21-1481, is bred from “Magic Mike” 6134-16-1027 and “HBS” 2114-18-8379. “Magic Mike” is a son of the Heremans/Ceusters foundation cock BE-2005-6449947 and BE-2004-6470930, a daughter of “Euro”. On the maternal side, “Helios 736” is a daughter of BE-2010-6339882, himself bred directly from “Nieuwe Rossi” BE-2006-6148179 × “Eenoogske” BE-2006-6148039.
A pedigree-led offering with a compelling combination of close-family victories, national ace-pigeon performance and clearly documented Heremans bloodlines.
