“Herbert 430” – DV-2026-01931-430 is a grizzle pigeon combining the Kornelius and Koffler/Kossow families, with repeated Romario ancestry and documented one-loft racing success among its relatives. The pedigree brings together the family of Golden Race Algarve winner “Thomas 6”, the Moledo performer “JOKO4”, and Simon Wolf’s breeding hen “Romario’s Girl”.

The maternal side provides a particularly strong foundation. The dam, 01696-22-760, bred by Kornelius / Wolf, is a daughter of “225” – 01696-19-225, described in the pedigree as a top breeding cock and a brother to “Thomas 6”. That celebrated relative won the 2018 Golden Race Algarve with a 24-minute lead and was also 8th Ace Pigeon. These are achievements of “Thomas 6”, not of “225” or the offered pigeon. “225” was bred by KORNELIUS Winners Loft from “THE KING” and “THE QUEEN”, the latter explicitly recorded as a daughter of Romario.

The maternal grandmother, “Romario’s Girl” – 03904-20-2729, bred by Simon Wolf, adds direct evidence of breeding strength. She is recorded as the mother of a pigeon placed 49th in the 508 km Super Star Winter final, and as grandmother of descendants achieving 3rd in the 509 km Europe Master Winter final and 22nd in its 422 km semi-final. Her own parents are explicitly identified as a son and a daughter of Romario, reinforcing the concentrated Romario influence in “Herbert 430”.

The sire is “Hurricane 48” – 0303-22-48, a son of “Hurricane 556” and the Koffler / Kossow hen 0216-20-831. This paternal grandmother is recorded as a sister to “JOKO4”, which achieved 9th in the 483 km final of the 2021 Moledo Yearlings Championship and 17th over 326 km. She was bred from Gert Rotman’s “Golden 368”, NL-2019-4492368, paired with the Koffler / Kossow hen “Schimmel 2877”. The paternal grandfather, “Hurricane 556”, is described as bred from H. & F. Sander’s “Blue Hurricane” and “Dark Laura”, B18-5092828, recorded as an Allround Olympiad pigeon and breeding hen.

A family-led auction prospect with repeated Romario breeding and meaningful one-loft racing credentials on both sides—supported by the Algarve-winning “Thomas 6” family, the Moledo results of “JOKO4”, and the documented breeding record of “Romario’s Girl”.

GEIGER + KORNELIUS from Oberderdingen delivered a strong AviRings Derby PRO 2026 campaign, led by DV-2026-01931-418 winning 21st against 2,471 pigeons from 180 km. The team also scored 47th/2,313 from 325 km and 75th/2,693 from 138 km, showing early speed and depth across large fields. Standout pigeon DV-2026-01931-430 confirmed its quality with 49th/998 in the 521 km Final Race 3/3, plus 32nd in both the 3x500 and Champion of the Nations rankings. These results underline a competitive German loft with proven OLR performance over sprint, middle-distance and final-race stages.
