413-14-03 — a blue Janssen cock combining documented Sun City breeding results with Van Diest and G. Verbruggen ancestry. Described in the pedigree as a “breeding ace”, this cock is a direct son of the highly regarded “763er” and the Janssen stock hen “548er”.

The principal selling point is his sire’s record as a producer. Bred by Van Diest, “763er” (A-2000-412-763) is described as a top breeding cock, with offspring credited with the following Sun City placings:

  • 92nd and 112th in 2005
  • 106th in 2006
  • 75th in 2012

These are results of the sire’s offspring, not performances attributed to 413-14-03. “763er” is himself a son of G. Verbruggen’s “053” (BELG-1994-2063053) and Van Diest’s “219” (BELG-1993-2434219). The paternal pedigree extends to the recorded ancestors “DE ZOT”, “DUIVELIN”, “Kleine bleke” and “blaue Prutske”.

The maternal side reinforces the Janssen connection. His dam, “548er” (DV-2005-8767-548), is expressly recorded as Janssen and described as a top breeding hen. She is a daughter of Theo Lehnen’s “728er” (DV-2004-3902-728) and Przybille-Preis’s “494er” (DV-2001-5667-494). Further back, the pedigree records Theo Lehnen’s Janssen hen 03902-01-928, alongside two maternal great-grandparents praised for their breeding quality.

A breeding-focused pedigree whose strongest credentials are its sire’s repeated Sun City offspring results and its clearly documented Janssen maternal foundation.
