SLO-2026-108-3934 brings together Tim Rutkowski’s documented “Dreamteam” family with the Dutch breeding of P. Veenstra and Ad Schaerlaeckens. Its pedigree also includes direct ancestors bred by Gebr. Leideman, Günter Prange and W. Roeper—a well-connected German–Dutch combination with family performance behind it.
The sire is “Amirik” (DV-2022-6603-443W), a blue cock bred by Tim Rutkowski. His father, DV-2021-6603-2236, is a son of the “Dreamteam” pairing “Hugo Boss” × “Black Pearl 124”. The offered pigeon is therefore a great-grandchild of both birds. “Hugo Boss,” bred by Neuhaus & Sohn, is identified as a foundation breeder, while “Black Pearl 124” is credited with 1st Best Yearling Hen in the RV. Behind this pair stand Günter Prange’s “Tip Top,” W. Roeper’s “Tochter 101,” “Black Power” and “Prinzessin.”
The paternal grandmother is “Xena” (DV-2021-6603-577), whose pedigree records excellent performances at Derby Alvins in 2021. She is a daughter of the Gebr. Leideman-bred “Surfer Man” and Rutkowski’s “Athene.” Surfer Man’s parents are “Zo.Crack 19” and the W. Roeper hen “Tochter 1241,” adding a clearly documented Leideman–Roeper branch.
The dam, NL-2022-807946A, was bred by Rob Schouten from “De Fries” × NL-2019-1570620. De Fries, bred by Comb. R & S Fokkinga, is out of two P. Veenstra pigeons. This branch includes “Solito,” a daughter of “Dolce Vitae,” and a bird identified as a brother of “Dolce Vitae”; De Fries’s mother is also explicitly named as a half-sister of “Eamees.” These are supporting family connections, distinct from the offered pigeon’s direct ancestors.
The maternal grandmother is a daughter of “Arien” and “Ada,” both bred by Ad Schaerlaeckens. Ada’s father recorded 129th Provincial Bourges, while her mother, NL-2013-1313359, is described in the pedigree as “Best yearling in Belgium in 2014.” The appeal of this pigeon lies in its combination of the Dreamteam breeding pair, the Leideman–Roeper branch and a substantial Veenstra–Schaerlaeckens maternal foundation.
