“Thomas 257” – DV 02241 26 257 is a blue pigeon bred by KORNELIUS Winners Loft, Germany, combining the family of Golden Race Algarve winner “Thomas 6” with the documented breeding strength of “Golden Jewels” and the regional ace-pigeon family behind “The New Queen.”

The sire, “Thomas Jewels 42” (GFL-2023-42), is bred from “THE KING” (03318-17-154) and “Golden Jewels” (03801-16-689). “THE KING” is the father of “Thomas 6” (01696-18-6), winner of the 2018 Golden Race Algarve by a remarkable 24-minute margin and also 8th Ace Pigeon. “Thomas 6” is therefore a successful collateral relative, rather than a direct ancestor of the pigeon offered.

Paternal grandmother “Golden Jewels” is a direct daughter of “Romario” (03801-06-338), bred by Ad Schaerlaeckens. Her recorded breeding record includes grandchildren achieving 8th in the Victoria Falls final, 16th Ace Pigeon in 2019 and 20th in the Victoria Falls final in 2020. This branch brings documented one-loft results alongside the close connection to the Algarve-winning family.

The dam, “The New Queen” (03318-22-1442), adds particularly valuable close-family evidence. She is the mother of a pigeon placed 2nd at Ribera del Orbigo over 665 km. Her siblings include:

  • “21-1228”: 1st Regional Ace Pigeon, yearling cocks, 2022, in a regional population of 7,853 pigeons, with 965 ace points.
  • “22-1441,” her nestmate: 1st Regional Ace Pigeon, yearling cocks, 2023, in a regional population of 4,879 pigeons, with 1,068 ace points.

“The New Queen” is bred from Georg Fröhlingsdorf’s “Super Breeder 614” (03318-18-614) and “GFL 160” (GFL-2019-160), the documented sister of “Thomas 6.” “GFL 160” is herself a daughter of “THE KING” and “THE QUEEN,” a daughter of Romario. With “THE KING” appearing on both sides and further Fröhlingsdorf foundation blood through “Josef,” “Thomas 257” offers a concentrated pedigree supported by Algarve success, Victoria Falls final placings and regional ace-pigeon breeding.

Team Kornelius + Wollitzer from Östringen has delivered standout AviRings Derby performances across multiple seasons. Highlights include 2nd against 2,417 pigeons in AviRings Derby PRO 2026 Race 3, 4th and 8th against 1,349 pigeons in PRO 2025 Race 5, and 9th against 1,627 pigeons in AviRings Derby 2023 Race 3. The team also achieved 15th AviRings Ace Pigeon in 2025, 8th Average Speed in 2025, and 14th Champion of the Nations in 2026. These results show a loft capable of scoring at the very front in large, competitive OLR fields.
