Avirings 015 — BE-2026-2010015 brings together direct descent from New Laureaat and Kleine Jade, the winning Bordeaux hen Astrid, and a close maternal connection to Jef, 1st International Barcelona 2019. A compelling long-distance pedigree backed by major race performances and documented breeding results on both sides.
The sire is Child Astrid, NL-2017-1262168, bred by Batenburg-v.d.Merwe. His offspring are credited with 5th National Narbonne 2023 and 8th National Agen 2023, providing important evidence of his ability to transmit quality. He is a son of NL-2016-1509039, bred from the exceptional pairing New Laureaat × Kleine Jade, and Astrid.
Avirings 015 is therefore a great-grandchild of two International Barcelona winners: New Laureaat, BE-2008-2222675, winner of 1st International Barcelona 2013 against 25,382 pigeons, and Jelle Jellema’s Kleine Jade, NL-2011-1292679, winner of 1st National Barcelona against 5,423 pigeons and 1st International against 20,669 pigeons in 2014. These are established direct ancestors, not merely names mentioned elsewhere in the family.
The paternal grandmother, Astrid, NL-2014-1933906, raced by Comb. De Pijper, adds outstanding performance over distance: 1st National S2 Bordeaux against 9,691 pigeons over 835 km, also recording the fastest performance across S1 and S2 against a combined 13,031 pigeons.
The dam, Zus Jef, BE-2022-2131441, is documented as a sister of Jef, the 2019 International Barcelona winner. She also has breeding results of her own, with offspring achieving 37th National Agen 2025 and 46th National Perpignan 2025. Her parents are Eddy, BE-2014-2324365, bred by Fabre Eddy of Diest and documented as Jef’s father, and 116 – Mother Jef, BE-2010-2022116. The deeper maternal pedigree also includes Montauban.
International Barcelona-winning ancestry, a top Bordeaux-winning grandmother and nationally successful offspring from both parents make Avirings 015 an attractive prospect for breeders seeking documented long-distance family strength.
