NL-2026-8280344 — an A. Mekel-bred chequer combining documented one-loft success with Moonraker, White Sensation and Dirk van den Bulck bloodlines. Both parents were bred by Gert Rotman, and the pedigree brings together close family connections to leading performances at Autostrada and the German Classic.
The sire is “De 956”, NL-2023-4631956. His father, “Autostrada 078”, NL-2022-4071078, is a full brother to the pigeon recorded as NL22-993, which achieved two outstanding distinctions in Romania in 2022: 1st in the 435 km Autostrada OLR final and 1st Ace Pigeon. These results belong to the grandfather’s full brother. Their parents, “MOONRAKER53*L.BAK 17”, NL-2021-4601789, bred by J.D. Poortvliet, and “GERTS 097”, IHU-2020-S042097, bred by Safet Duran, are both direct great-grandparents of the offered bird.
The paternal grandmother, “DE 210”, NL-2022-4072210, is a daughter of the pairing described in the pedigree as the “Dream Pair”: NL-2019-4492611, “MOONRAKER 911 JR.”, and “White Sensation 342”, NL-2019-4492342. The former is documented as the sire of NL-2021-4601862, 2nd National Tulle KBDB in 2022. White Sensation 342 is a full sister to White Sensation 662 and a daughter of Dirk van Dyck’s “White Lady”. This branch also contains the Henk Simonsz-bred Moonraker pigeons explicitly recorded in the ancestry.
The dam, “De 796”, NL-2023-4631796, is a full sister to NL-2022-4070977, which finished 9th in the 2022 German Classic OLR final against 349 pigeons and 11th Ace Pigeon in a field of 869. This close maternal-family evidence is another principal attraction of the pedigree. De 796 is bred from Georg Agnes’s “GERMAN 557”, documented as 100% Dirk van den Bulck with a Goede Rode connection, and Safet Duran’s “St. George”, IHU-2020-S042149.
St. George adds the G & C Cooper branch through her sire, “Pancho/George”, BG-2012-F35580. Together, these documented ancestors make NL-2026-8280344 an appealing pedigree prospect for buyers seeking a combination of one-loft family performance and complementary breeding lines.
