NL-2026-8517406 — a blue-bar pigeon bred by H.T.G. Bouwman, combining a high-performing day-distance sire with the documented Will & Falco Ebben family of NELIS and NORA. Its pedigree brings together sustained racing performance, a close connection to a major Roye winner and several generations of successful racers and breeders.
The sire, 20-1302502, provides the principal performance foundation. He was ranked 3rd best day-distance pigeon in the Fondspiegel over 2022–2023 and 3rd day-distance pigeon champion of Section 8/GOU in 2022. His race record includes 20th NPO Chateaudun against 5,171 pigeons on 11 June 2022, alongside 3rd Gien against 1,689 pigeons and 8th Issoudun against 3,864 pigeons.
The dam, NL-2023-9148236, “NELIS X NORA”, was bred by Will & Falco Ebben and is a half-sister to the winner of 1st NPO Roye against 9,558 pigeons. Her father, NELIS, NL-2018-1682484, is recorded as the sire of 24-8253025, winner of that Roye result over 310 km with a lead of 1 minute 42 seconds. This is a particularly compelling close-family highlight.
The maternal grandmother, NORA, NL-2018-5163574, contributes both racing and breeding credentials. She raced to 4th Nanteuil against 5,215 pigeons and 8th Chimay against 11,228 pigeons, and bred a winner of 1st Tienen against 3,413 pigeons.
The deeper maternal pedigree adds further substance: NELIS is bred from FIDEL × JENNY, with JENNY bred by Ad Schaerlaeckens; NORA is bred from HANNIBAL × KATJA, with KATJA bred by Peter Janssen. These are documented ancestral connections, complementing the Bouwman family on the sire’s side. Payment Instructions:
After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
