SK-2026-0512-805 brings together Prange/Janssen breeding, Olivier Geyskens ancestry and the ZG Helios Braveheard family, with a direct Dirk van den Bulck-bred great-grandmother. Its pedigree combines repeated first-prize performances, regional ace-pigeon breeding and successful collateral relatives in one-loft competition.
The sire is “Sido” (DV-2016-2861-100), a Prange/Janssen cock whose pedigree features “Miss Chicco 891” (DV-2010-7259-891) through both his sire and dam. This repeated ancestor is described as an outstanding breeding hen and is a daughter of G. Prange’s “Chicco” (DV-2001-2098-109). Chicco, a great-grandfather of the auction pigeon, is credited with eight first prizes and with breeding the 1st Regional Association Ace Cock in 2013. His partner “Goldfee” (DV-2009-2098-1923), also bred by G. Prange, is explicitly recorded as a full sister to Prange’s 2009 ace hen. The paternal branch additionally carries Janssen blood via Ritz through “Krummschnabel”.
The dam, “119/2021” (DV-2021-01777-119), is a daughter of “Olivier” (BE-2020-6127819), bred by Olivier Geyskens, and “Braveheard 361” (DV-2019-01777-361), bred by ZG Helios. Olivier’s recorded parents introduce John & Jan Baeck’s “DE 130” and the hen named “Schwester Potske”.
The Braveheard branch supplies particularly useful performance evidence. Great-grandfather “Braveheard 1340” (BE-2006-3201340) recorded 12 prizes from 12 races and 968 points in 2008, including two first prizes. Maternal grandmother Braveheard 361’s brother, “Braveheard 244”, is credited with offspring results including 1st Ace Pigeon at Dapirace 2018, with 1,743 pigeons, and 20th at the Ostseerennen 2019 over 468 km against 1,281 pigeons. These are achievements of his offspring, not of the auction pigeon or its grandmother.
Completing this maternal pairing is “Rosita 969” (BE-2013-6139969), the Dirk van den Bulck-bred great-grandmother. An appealing pedigree for buyers seeking a combination of established German breeding families, Belgian ancestry and documented family performance.
