NL-2026-8404719, bred by Jelle Jellema, brings together Olympic Lynn, Olympic White Star and Pieter Veenstra’s Versace family, with a direct great-grandparent connection to Joël Verschoot’s Armando. This pigeon is a grandchild of both Olympic Lynn and Versace—a pedigree combining documented long-distance performances with proven breeding results.

The sire, NL-2024-8158202, bred by Jan Nijboer, is a direct son of Olympic Lynn (NL-2022-8174826). Her principal distinctions include:

  • 3rd in the long-distance One Year Olympiad ranking, 2024.
  • 2nd NPO Issoudun against 2,135 pigeons.
  • 4th NPO Sermaise against 4,425 pigeons.

The sire’s father, NL-2022-8175463, is a direct son of Olympic White Star (NL-2020-1191330), recorded as 1st in the FCI Marathon World Best Pigeon category. Olympic White Star is therefore a great-grandmother of the auction pigeon. Further back, Olympic Lynn’s ancestry includes the C. & G. Koopman-bred Heaven Star and Ins Buro through her father, Red Star.

The dam, NL-2021-1432870, bred by Pieter Veenstra, is a daughter of Versace paired with Armando-Flojo 195. Versace (NL-2018-4297792) is explicitly credited as the father of offspring achieving:

  • 7th National Ace Pigeon, young birds, 2019.
  • 6th NPO Courtis against 3,122 pigeons.
  • 20th National Rethel against 7,154 pigeons.

These are breeding results credited to Versace, not personal performances of the auction pigeon or its dam. The maternal grandmother, Armando-Flojo 195 (BE-2019-2125195), adds further breeding evidence as the mother of a 1st Provincial Burdin winner against 4,895 pigeons. She is a direct daughter of Armando (BE-2014-3004610) and Return Flojo.

The maternal pedigree also repeats the pairing of Shamrock Ike × Desteny Vita: they are the parents of both Versace and Return Flojo. Through Desteny Vita, the ancestry reaches Da Vinci and Special Blue, while Shamrock Ike brings the Chris Hebberecht branch. A carefully connected pedigree with Olympic-level family performances, substantial-field results and successful breeding close behind the offered pigeon.

Jelle Jellema is a highly respected Dutch long-distance name whose AviRings Derby results show immediate impact at the top of large fields. In AviRings Derby PRO 2026 he scored 7th and 16th of 1,790 pigeons in Final Race 1/3, plus 9th of 2,417 in Race 3. In AviRings Derby PRO 2025 he achieved 3rd and 9th of 2,101 in Race 1 and 8th of 1,922 in Race 4. His overall rankings add further depth, including 12th Champion of the Nations and 52nd ace pigeon new in AviRings Derby PRO 2026, and 45th Ace Pigeon in AviRings Derby PRO 2025.
