ALONSO – ESP-2026-113605, bred by Sergio Delgado, is a cock with compelling one-loft race credentials on both sides of his pedigree. A direct son of MISS SEVILLA, winner of the 2019 Derby de Sevilla final from Salamanca over 400 km, he combines her winning family with the documented Romario line and the Klaas Vettel branch.
His dam, MISS SEVILLA (ACT ESP-19-132675), is recorded as arriving alone to win the Sevilla final. Her breeding background adds further substance: she is a paternal half-sister to ATANASIA, winner of the 2021 Algarve Great Derby over 491 km against 2,582 pigeons. Both hens descend directly from ALONSO’s maternal grandsire, MISTER KANNIBAL (POR-2014-4022972), bred by Joaquin Guedes. Two winning daughters make this a particularly significant branch of the pedigree.
His sire, ROMARIO (DV-2020-567-08699), bred by Simon Wolf, earned 7th in the 370 km Cabo Palos final and 10th Ace Pigeon at the 2020 Derby Internacional Costa del Sol Invierno. He is a son of the Klaas-bred HIJO DE VETTEL and the Christian Gokan hen Gr,ROMARIO. The pedigree explicitly records descent from Ad Schaerlaeckens’ Romario, while the direct paternal line leads to VETTEL (DV-2011-0507-505), recorded as a brother of Sun City winner VICTOR.
The maternal depth continues through grandmother CECILIA, a daughter of FARO 2012 (POR-2012-2086137), winner of the 2012 Derby de Faro and 4th Ace Pigeon. MISTER KANNIBAL’s parents also carry explicit Kannibal bloodline references, including an inbred Kannibal hen.
A son of a solo final winner, backed by a sire with both final and ace-pigeon results, and a maternal family producing multiple derby winners—ALONSO offers a concentrated, performance-supported one-loft pedigree.
